Reflexology is a non-invasive complementary therapy that works through reflex points on the feet and face to relax and rebalance the whole body, both at physical and emotional levels. It relieves stress and helps the body to relax, reduces tension, improves sleep and balances mood. All in all it is fabulous treatment for improved well-being. Often personal health worries are helped as well and this is always on an individual basis.
A free 15-minute consultation is offered in addition to the full hour treatment at the first appointment.
Therapeutic reflexology: feet only
A medical history is taken and an organic cream is applied to the feet. The reflexes in the feet that are imbalanced in the feet are firmly worked specifically for an individualised treatment. This comes with a discussion about your health and wellbeing in addition to relaxation.
Facial reflexology: face only
A medical history is taken and Rose D’Orient Aromessence by Decleor is applied and the face is firmly massaged. Followed by the full reflexology sequence on the face using the Bergman Technique together with relaxing moves originating from Indian Head Massage on the scalp. This treatment aims to rejuvenate the skin and improve circulation to the head and neck area.
Deep relaxation reflexology: face and feet
Incorporating the therapeutic benefits of foot reflexology together the rejuvenation of the skin that comes from facial reflexology. The Bergman Technique facial reflexology short sequence is applied first sinking you into a deep trance like state followed by one hour of foot reflexology with all its concomitant benefits.
Tracey Smith is an experienced practitioner of 20 years standing. Prior to becoming a reflexologist she was a scientific researcher in areas such as assisted conception, cancer and genetics and so she comes with a wealth of knowledge.
Her practise time is limited because for the greater proportion of the week she is a staff member of the Association of Reflexologists (AoR) where she provides support and knowledge to their membership on all things reflexology and research related.
She is also a registrant of the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) for your peace of mind. This is the UK regulator for complementary therapies and provides an accredited register for protection of the public.
