Chemical peels are a highly effective way to improve the overall appearance of your skin. The main concerns targeted by skin peels are fine lines and wrinkles, acne, acne scarring, pigmentation (dark spots, melasma, sun damage), rough skin and dull complexions. They can be used on the face, hands, neck and décolletage.

What are the acids used and what do they do?
L-Mandelic Acid (AHA) is extracted from almonds and is very gentle on the skin while providing effective deep-pore cleansing. It helps to unblock hair follicles, preventing blackheads, whiteheads and breakouts.
L-Lactic Acid (AHA) is extracted from sour milk and is used to increase hydration levels. It also helps block the signals for new melanin production.
Salicylic (BHA) is extracted from the wintergreen plant, which is also used to produce aspirin. It helps to dissolve sebum and debris in the pores that cause blackheads, enlarged pores and acne breakouts. It also helps to reduce oil production and provides a gentle exfoliation. It has anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties.
Lactobionic (PHA) is extracted from milk sugar and has great anti-oxidant and water-retaining properties, making it a very hydrating.
Azelaic Acid (BHA) is extracted from barley and is used to treat mild to moderate acne, both comedonal and inflammatory. It works by killing the p-acne bacteria that infects the pores, and also decreases the production of keratin (excess keratin promotes the growth of p-acne bacteria). Those prone to acne tend to have more thickened skin as the excess sebum that is produced ‘glues’ the dead skin cells together, creating a perfect breeding ground for p-acne bacteria.
Phytic Acid (AHA) is extracted from rice and inhibits the production of new melanin while exfoliating superficial melanin-filled cells, therefore removing superficial pigmentation marks.
